Shite....The EM 50 got a friggen flat tire at Atigun Pass.....fortunately we have a handy man jack and a Tom on board..
....Spare Tire affixed.... fire and beer to push back the 10°F temps ....Atigun pass...
When you close in on the Arctic Ocean ... fog.......
the pipe is not actually attached to anything when it is above ground....but just lies on its supports freely....... it is in a constant state of motion on its supports as temperature and geologic changes occur....it moves this way and that way....

Near the Yukon River Crossing now ...its day .......uhhhh.....cant remember....a week maybe?...10 days from start?.... something like that....thermometer here reads 3°... I went to bed and missed shooting the Northern Lights...but Doug got a good one
