Etosha Area

Got to stop for a morning cup of tea ...and fry up some eggs... it would be the first and last time I had eggs as they all got busted to bits on the bad roads and made quite the mess in the fridge

look at that shadow ... Harsh light from straight up

Lots of springbok...always getting under your wheels ...

You know why the zebra has stripes? ... its an anti bug optical mechanism ... it boggles the eye site of the horsefly

Here's mud in your eye ... lonely looking wildebeest near a dried up water hole

Who can identify?

I'm just casually driving along from Okaukuejo to Namuton, about 100 kilometers across the edge of the Etosha Pan... and there's just all this wildlife out there walking about ....

here's a high resolution of that giraffe ..

Time to get out off Etosha and head back to the Skeleton Coast ... here's a termite hill ... these things are practically every where in the interior highlands ...

A rest area ... not a whole lotta shade though ...

Things getting more lush ...

Python tree ... actually kills the other tree in time ...

I camped the night at a rest stop and ranch of this nice guy who fought with the Namibian Defense force during the  Herere uprising against Apartied policies. He was injured and is now a paraplegic ... gets around in his motorized wheelchair .... he showed me his baby Kudu walking around the grounds... got to pick up FM radio with those ears ...

Smelling something good in my camera bag ...

Another one I have yet to ID
